So with Flickr declining and Instagram useless where too now?

So if you aren’t aware of the news that has happened this week Instagram has implemented a Facebook style timeline and is going to become pay to play, thus, once again taking away brands reach from the followers that they have spent significant amounts of money to find and who actually want to see what they post. We have all seen this once before with the Facebook timeline change for pages rendering them virtually useless to most business’s unless they stump up in the region of $10 per 1,000 impressions. An extortionate amount by any stretch of the imagination to reach people who already have agreed to see what that page posts! Secondly, Flickr has moved to a paid only platform with uploads only being allowed from a desktop, many see these two changes as the death of both platforms. To be honest, these brands have all been stung once with Facebook, wether they have the stomach to do it again remains to be seen!

Clickasnap definitely is interesting and I’d love to see if we can enable it on PicBackMan http://www.picbackman.com – which is a multi service bulk uploader for photos and videos. You can use PicBackMan to automatically bulk upload to Flickr, SmugMug, Google Photos, Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, S3 and more. We would love to add Clickasnap too!
