ClickASnap pays out over $6,000 to photographers in 9 months!

First of all, from all of us at ClickASnap, happy Christmas and happy new year! We hope 2017 will be an amazing year for us and you!

It might not sound alot, but for a completely new and unproven new method of monetising photos and still images paying out this amount just by people looking at the photos and images $6,000 is not bad. Especially considering ClickASnap is only 9 months old!

On the 29th February 2016 we launched, We received Mike brownes backing 2 months later and reached 2 million photo views per month by August. The site has calmed down a little since then as we have moved from an Alpha site to a Beta site with all the headaches this entails! I must, again, thank all of our users for sticking with us and being very very valuable guinea pigs for the platform as we bring in changes, new features and bug fixes.

We are not currently actively advertising the site (well not through paid methods currently), rather, we are spending our revenue and investments on fixing bugs, and getting to the Gold version of the site. But, the site is growing nicely, 20 new sign ups per day and an average of 500 new photos per day pushing us to over 10,000 signed up users and close to 500,000 images on the site. Traffic typically reduces over Christmas because of obvious reasons but we are likely to see about 60,000 users in December. The first quarter of 2017 is going to be about fixing bugs and hopefully bringing in the remaining features of the site such as the new profile pages, the new feed allowing you to comment, share and like statuses other than photos, and a few other bits and pieces. The remainder of 2017 is likely going to be concentrating on growth, with a target of 3 million users by the end of 2017 being realistically achievable for us.

As mentioned previously, we are taking a bit of a break over Christmas, as it has been a manic year for us all here, with stress, worries and a phenomenal amount of work amounting to tens of thousands of man hours most of which is unpaid as any entrepreneur will tell you!

We hope to see you in 2017, and look forward to paying out more royalties for people viewing your work!

Best regards

Tom Oswald
