Would you like some free promotion?

Clickasnap is a rapidly growing platform with thousands of daily active users and hundreds of thousands of photographs and still images. One of our main responsibilities as a services provider is to do everything we can to increase the volume of organic traffic to the site, this does two things: 1) Organic traffic has a higher value to advertisers than direct or referral traffic, and 2) It allows more people to find your content!

Whilst we employ multiple methods of traffic generation including paid social media advertising, paid content advertising and partnerships with people with huge followings like Mike Browne, one of the most effective methods, but time consuming, is the generation of regular blog posts. This is where you come in! We would like to offer you the opportunity to have a post on our blog, this can be anything related to photography and can include links to your Clickasnap profile, images on Clickasnap or even links to your website or social media page! These could lead to significant traffic coming to wherever you decide to send it too, and basically for as long as the website is active (Which we plan to be a very very long time!)

So you fancy a bit of free promotion, what do we need from you?

All we need from you is  a word document sent to tom@clickasnap.com containing your work, ideally around 300 words but can be as much as 800 and be sure to include whatever links you would like on the page and we will publish it on our blog, and as an extra bonus send a link to your article to every single user on the platform! Please include at least one photo for the cover of the post!

Please also ensure that the content is unique to this site, it must also be related to art/photography in some way. Your article will be added to our queue and published as soon as it’s queue point is reached. We publish posts daily and there is always typically 15-20 articles in our queue. It will also be posted on our Meta page, and sent as a notification to all the users on our platform

Please also include a short 3 line pbiography at the end of each article

As an idea, we are looking for articles on the following:

  • Photoshop/lightroom or similar tutorials
  • Photography related tutorials
  • Personal photography or art related stories
  • Anything that you think would be useful to the community that uses this platform

That’s it!

  1. I have a vegan blog with my own recipes photographed by me. I also wrote couple of articles however, I’m not sure if this is the kind of topic you would be interested in. Feel free to visit my blog and if there is anything you would find appealing please let me know.

    Sincerely,
    Lena

    1. Hi Lena, if you can write an article that relates to photography then we would be more than happy to publish such an article

  2. Hang on, maybe I am a little slow on this, but are you asking for articles about photography? But it can have links to a website that has nothing to do with the subject.
So if I was to write 500 words about how I go about setting up a shoot for photos that I use to promote my website, that would be okay?

    1. If your website can be associated with photography and the article that you are writing relates to this then yes you can

  3. Hi Tom,
As you are probably aware, I am an artist, Fractal Art is my field at present. My question is whether you are interested in articles about creating and sharing your art on Clickasnap?
If so, count me in mate!

  4. Hi,
I have a couple of ideas, but I need to clarify one thing first. When you say to send a Word document, do you mean specifically Microsoft Word? Not everyone is in MS’s Pockets, so I hope you will accept other formats like a link to Evernote or Google Docs. I can use LibreOffice as well.

  5. Hi, I have three sites that might be possibly tangentially of interest. One has architecture photo-renderings of actual projects. Another has a little photo essay of a walk through a little South Vancouver Island town in the spring.the final one has photo of architectural ephemera in an online gallery setting. I would be interested sending you material from each site over the next month or so. Please let me know if you are interested.

The other is listed below. All of the images are not posted.

  6. Might it be a good idea to have some kind of warning as to what others are about to reduce duplication? For example I am mulling two subjects – use of the moon in the landscape; and how to minimise risks associated with putting up pictures of kids. It could also be useful to kick people like me up the bahoochie and actually get something done, as opposed to just thought about.

    1. Hi Peter, at the moment most subjects are pretty unique. However having different points of view about the same thing isn’t necessarily an issue

  7. OMG! Where have I been, I haven’t seen this. This is an awesome idea. I’ll have to keep this in mind and see what I can come up with. Thanks for suggesting this Tom, I hope people are taking you up on it.
