As many of you may know I love photography and one of my absolute favourite lenses is the Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L II USM Lens. It is an awesome lens for the money, quite heavy to hold but the end pictures are well worth it. The lens comes with two stabiliser modes, Mode 1 stabilises along the X and Y axis and Mode 2 stabilises along the vertical axis only. The focusing is done using Canons ultrasonic motors which means it is fast and accurate with little or no noise.
The focussing is smooth and fast enough to deal with sport and rapid movement of subjects. With the wide aperture, even in comparativley low light conditions excellent photos can be obtained at high shutter speeds and low ISO settings. The Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L II USM Lens is an excellent all round lens suitable for almost any situation a photographer may find themselves in.

The quality of the lens is outstanding. The photo below was taken in comparatively low light conditions with no flash

One of my favourite photos using this lens, Scamp the Jack Russell Terrier out with the horses

I rarely do wedding photography but this was taken from the other side of Brighton university church. Again fairly low light conditions

What I actually bought the lens for originally, sport photography and it excels at it

Personally I would highly recommend this lens, it is certainly worth every penny! Below is a video review of it from Digital Rev
