I suspect many users of cameras are not even aware of a histogram feature within their camera. Just what is a histogram though and what use is it to you? A Histogram is a visual confirmation that physically shows you whether your photo is correctly exposed or not, something that is often tricky to do just by looking at your freshly taken photo on the small LCD screen at the back of your camera.
A Histogram is incredibly easy to read. Basically, a completely black pixel is placed on the left, and a completely white pixel placed on the right of the scale.
