So, you went out and bought that camera you have been eyeing for ages! Whether it be a point and shoot or a state of the art Canon DSLR and a range of lenses, you’re sat there and wondering ‘just how long is it going to take to learn how to use this!’ The truth is, holding a camera in ones hand no more makes you a photographer than holding a knife in your hand makes you a surgeon. Whilst learning the basics behind photography like ISO, F-stop settings and shutter speeds are actually fairly easy to master, putting them into practice in a live scene and getting that perfect shot is going to take a while to master.
